…what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people, a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations.

As Sean Parker’s Axios confession and the ‘revelation of the method’ of Google’s Selfish Ledger prove, there are a great many forces conspiring not only to dominate our consciousness and attention, but also to shape and ‘socially engineer’ our thinking — and behavior, in cybernetic totalist fashion. B.F. Skinner’s ‘Skinner Box’, Norbert Wiener’s cybernetics, and Edward Bernays’ propaganda and the so-called ‘engineering of consent’ along with other forces have been systematically wired together, in order to produce a specific outcome, that being; zero opposition or even resistance to the complete reordering of society along technocratic and communitarian lines, to suit a very narrow class of what C. Wright Mills referred to as the ‘Power Elite’.
In spite of all this — including the knowledge of said cabal — what can the average American do? I contend that, to maintain the personal freedom and individual liberty, foundational to America, woven into our DNA, and which we hold so sacred and dear, one key strategic directive we can — and should always — maintain is to observe Patrick Henry’s admonition, and uphold “the great pillars of all government and of social life; I mean virtue, morality, and religion.” The steadfast, resolute but respectful, considerate, ‘virtuous, moral, and religious’ ‘conscientious objector’ remains a powerful antidote, on the world stage, to nefarious forces everywhere.
