they bombed 4 nights in Dresden not just one, first two nights the brits, the 3rd nights came the US, the 4th night the US wanted to bomb Leipzig but the weather was so bad so they bombed Dresden again.
Dresden was not alone there are alot town which got firebombed, Hildesheim had such beautiful inner city out of wooden “Fachwerkhäuser” they got bombed badly, but in the 1960 they rebuild most building, look at the images of Hildesheim, i learned my profession there 4 years at Deutsche Telekom.
