WANT OF RIGHTS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS RIGHTS.
Ron continues his illustrations of why the want of rights in the individual may be more important than the rights they do possess. This understanding is what prevents government from being all powerful. But government is indeed exercising power it cannot obtain from the people this makes it tyrannical and unlawful.
Ron rants on his trip to the hospital to get another couple of x-rays. He then talks about the absurd lawsuit of mothers with handicapped kids suing against the Texas mask mandate ban. How do handicapped kids, ineligible for a vaccine, get right to harm all their peers with masks so they may feel like they are not risking exposure to Covid? So if you can’t get a vaccine you can harm your neighbor!
Ron then searches the internet for the “constitutionality of mask mandates” and finds 18 million plus hits and all talk about rights you have, rather than rights you don’t have, all missing the point.
Ron recalls his argument with his x-brother-in-law over Ron’s want of rights versus his rights. The common complaint is that we don’t have a right to not to wear a mask or get a vaccine because it harms the larger community. That misses the point as Ron explained. There is no sound argument against the want of rights.
Mark joined in with his recorded comments he made before his County Commissioner’s Court in Michigan which was excellent!
Kathleen and Pat from Texas called in and added to the show and made much appreciated compliments. Mitchell from TN called in and questioned Ron on Lawful and Unlawful Taxation. Mitchell also asked Ron questions related to anarchist, Larken Rose, on delegated authority, and Roger Sayles on “citizenship status.”
