WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF POLICE? ARE THEY NOT SIMPLY AN EXTENSION OF THE GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS OF CITIZENS TO THE DEFENSE OF LIFE, LIMB, LIBERTY AND PROPERTY? YES! But all of the police agencies that descended on Uvalde, Texas after the murky May 24 elementary school “shooting” there behaved unlawfully, irresponsibly and irrationally, as they apparently did not enter the school for nearly an hour during the “shooting” and therefore allowed and enabled the accused assailant to fatally shoot 19 school pupils and two adults, along with 17 who were said to be wounded—this while keeping parents and other bystanders from entering the school to stop the shooter. Police even handcuffed some of those who wanted to enter Robb Elementary School to save the kids. This and various other often-bizarre aspects of the event, many of which are difficult to explain let alone believe, are discussed on STP today.
