Host Mark Anderson returns live today to directly interview Ron Avery, who’s oftentimes a co-host on Stop the Presses, to discuss Ron’s new book, “Judicial Plundering of Dr. James H. Fetzer, Co-Editor & Co-Author of the book, ‘Nobody Died at Sandy Hook.'” Ron explains the Wisconsin court system’s entrenched and flawed use of summary judgment, which can be utilized to deny any defendant the right to a trial by jury. Notably, Fetzer never waived his right to a jury trial in a defamation case filed by a father who says his son died at the alleged mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in 2012 in Connecticut and believed Fetzer’s book defamed him. Yet what amounted to a non-jury trial under the banner of summary judgment was held. Tune in to hear many more details from Ron, whose solid research into this matter (which includes an appeal by Fetzer to the U.S. Supreme Court) shines through to show that Mr. Fetzer’s evidence, as cited in the book he co-authored, was deemed “implausible” by the Wisconsin trail court judge and thus was never heard by a jury of his peers. The absurd ultimate outcome of the trial is described by Avery here in considerable detail.
