In the second half, guest David Gahary, a former Navy man, speaks of his efforts to increase the promotion of the book he co-authored (and a movie in the works) on the USS Liberty called “Erasing the Liberty.” The Liberty, the most decorated ship in Naval history for a single action, was attacked in international waters by Israeli forces in June 1967, which killed over three dozen U.S. sailors and injured scores more, but which has been swept under the rug of history.
