A great column from a great man, Paul Craig Roberts, for our July 29, 2018 Trump Phenomenon show. Roberts recognizes that great folks like Rand Paul are not as free as he is to just say it out loud: that the top of the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA have been and currently are committing “acts of high treason against the President and the American people”. Language as strong as that is coming not from some loudmouth nobody. Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Policy in the Reagan administration. He was an editorial page editor at the Wall Street Journal, He’s written 12 great books. He’s a giant in our history. The only thing wrong with Paul Craig Roberts is that, like so many of the great ones, he can’t be immortal. He’s 79 now. Like Pat Buchanan. Not that far off from Donald Trump at 72. Today on the air one of the ideas proposed is this: “if it’s not helping Trump’s mission….it’s stupid. I also propose the tough standard under which Trump himself, great mind and spirit that he is, is the best judge of whether something is helping his mission or hurting it.
