Edgar Cayce was a devout and devoted Christian.
It took Rome only a few hundred years to declare fundamental teachings of original Christianity (called The Way) heresies. It is a fact that the doctrine of reincarnation was part of the canon until removed by Justinian under pressure from the truly diabolic Theodora. (Asha Logos channel devoted a whole study to her)
The channel called The 144000 did a series: By The Emperor’s Command: Banning Reincarnation! It goes quickly through the allusions to and assumptions of the doctrine in the OT and NT.
PROPERLY understood the doctrine is merciful and just.
One life and heaven or everlasting hell is not and has given “Christianity” a lot of bad press and turned a lot of people away.
There Is A River, the bio of Cayce, is an excellent primer to understand the doctrine, It was probably the biggest shock of his life when it was revealed to him, but with study and soul-searching came to accept it.
