Co-host: Paul Fromm | Today, April 3, 2018, President Trump met with the three presidents of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. A great moment of celebration of the very Trumpian guiding principle of nationalism, which is that every people should live as a sovereign and independent nation at peace with other sovereign and independent neighbors. All three nations, which were sovereign and independent and at peace in 1939, were handed to the brutal Bolshevism of Josef Stalin by Adolf Hitler in the secret Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. In this secret agreement with the Bolsheviks, Hitler agreed to let Stalin’s killers invade and take Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as Eastern Poland. All of this for what? In exchange for Stalin’s agreement to let Hitler invade and take western Poland in 1939. Through all of that treachery the United States never ceased to recognize the sovereignty and independence of the Baltic republics. Trump celebrated this fact today, flanked by the presidents of these amazing nations. Their survival, each as a preserved ethnic people, in spite of the huge disadvantage of being dwarfed by invading armies of the Soviet Union, then Third Reich Germany, then the Soviets again, the small but tough Baltic peoples (Lithuania 2.8 million, Latvia 1.9 million, and Estonia 1.3 million) by staying together as ethnic families no matter what….have survived to witness this moment when a Make America Great Again president is able to stand in solidarity beside Make Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania Great Again patriot presidents.
