Co-host: Paul Fromm | Tonight, December 12, 2017 we bit our nails as the Alabama Senate race pitting Moore versus Jones was being counted right before our eyes. We ended the show with Moore having a 446,000 to 420,000 lead with 76% of precincts counted. But Kelso pointed out that the two biggest counties, with by far the biggest black populations, Jefferson County (city of Birmingham, the biggest) and Montgomery County (city of Montgomery and the capitol city…meaning the most corrupt spot in the state) were less than half counted. Kelso ended the show with his estimate that Moore’s 26,000 vote lead would we wiped out by the Jones landslide in Birmingham and Montgomery. We’ll be commiserating or celebrating tomorrow night. And if Moore loses by a small margin, Mitch McConnell, Jeff Flake, and the running dogs among the fake Republicans (Jerry Falwell Jr.’s apt term for them) will have a lot of ‘splaining to do….since they will have been fully responsible for a terrible blow to the Trump agenda.
