Co-host: Paul Fromm | “Mr. President, you’re living up to everything I thought you would. You’re one heck of a leader. When you stop and think about it, this president hasn’t even been in office for a year. And look at all the things that he’s been able to get done. By sheer will in many ways. I just hope we all get behind him in every way we can, and get this country turned around. I have to say that this is one of the great honors of my life, to stand here on the White House lawn with a president that I love and appreciate so much. We’re gonna keep fighting, and we’re going to make this the greatest presidency that we’ve seen, not only in generations, but maybe ever. God bless all of you.” Who said this yesterday? With just about the entire Republican Senate and House standing to either side of him up the south steps of the White House? None other than the venerable and universally respected dean of the Senate, Orrin Hatch of Utah. You could hear a pin drop as no one moved a muscle other than to nod in agreement. These words from Orrin Hatch, more than any other of the many accolades of Trump by other Senators and Congressman, marked the exact moment that President Trump became for all but the utterly irredeemable among them “one heck of a leader”. We replay this historic moment to end our December 21, 2017 Trump Phenomenon radio show. We start the show with the also historic words of former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom, who says “Yes” five times in a row to five different versions of the question: “Did James Comey run a criminal cabal at the TOP of the F.B.I. with the purpose of destroying Donald Trump and preventing him from becoming or remaining president?” Those deafening yeses appear in Kallstrom’s interview on Fox News with Stuart Varney.
