Today, Lindsey Graham saw so much significance in the handshakes and kisses exchanged by the Trumps and Bushes at the entrance to Blair House, that his eyes misted up and his voice cracked. Lindsey Graham may have hit the nail on the head also in spotting a key moment of change in the relationship between the Trumps and Bushes. Graham thinks that the Kavanaugh hearings caused George Bush, who advanced Brett Kavanaugh in the judiciary and greatly admires Kavanaugh, to change his attitude toward Trump. This, in appreciation of Donald Trump’s staunch defense of Kavanaugh against a withering attack from the left that few men could weather.
