Here’s what we talk about in The Trump Phenomenon on Feb. 12, 2018: Susan Rice, National Security Advisor to Obama, and VERY close to his power really goosed herself with a CYA email that she stupidly sent to HERSELF five minutes before she walked out of the White House for the last time as Donald Trump walked in on January 20, 2017. Miraculously, Sen. Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who has oversight authority over the national security agencies (which would include in this case Susan Rice) received a copy of this CYA email from the National Archives. Grassley’ people, thank goodness, NOTICED the weird nature of this email to herself in which she all too obviously is claiming that two weeks earlier she attended a meeting with Obama, Comey, VP Biden, Sally Yates, and others in which (paraphrasing now) “the president insisted that everything being done having anything to do with investigation into Trump and Russia was being done absolutely ‘by the book'” How did Shakespeare say it?: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” (Act III, Scene II, Hamlet, spoken by Hamlet’s mother Queen Gertrude in reaction to the protestation in the play-within-a-play wherein the Player Queen claims she would never remarry should her husband die). An example of the device of apophasis, which is revealing or saying something by denying it. The stupid Marxist Alinskyite Susan Rice just dragged her boss Obama, Comey, Yates, and Biden further into the Black Hole of FBIgate.
