Because today, February 18, 2020, I read a Tweet from the angelic hard-rockin’ genius Chrissie Hynde warmly praising President Trump, and praising his award of the Presidential Freedom Medal to Rush Limbaugh. Do you remember that moment? When First Lady Melania Trump fastened the medal around a crying Rush’s neck? If you didn’t recognize the name of the genius songwriter and singer (and guitarist) Chrissie Hynde right away….you’re SURE to know her music, which Rush Limbaugh has played as the theme music for his thirty-some years on patriot radio: “My City Was Gone”.
