Aren’t you loving it? President Trump puts an email in every Federal employee’s inbox offering millions of them, with a few exceptions like our military, an immediate BUYOUT deal! These millions, 94% of whom are working from bed in their pajamas, a buyout gift of 8 months of full pay and benefits if they agree to quit their jobs! Nice! They were given 8 days to respond to this brilliant offer, today, January 28, 2025. The initial expectation from the Trump team is that 10% of Federal employees will take the offer. Hundreds of billions of tax-dollar savings would instantly accrue. Brilliant. The fingerprints of DOGE are evident.
