A big story today, July 2, 2019, as President Trump announces his intention to make TWO nominations to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. You’ll remember as a listener to the Trump Phenomenon that we made a big deal of the fact that Hussein Obama messed up by leaving two empty chairs on the Board in his last years messing up our country. He was too sure that Hillary was gonna win, and that SHE would put two more DemonRats on the Board. Anyway, the news is exciting since both of Donald Trump’s intended nominess today are GREAT! Christopher Waller is the Chairman of the Economics Dept. at Notre Dame. And Judy Shelton is a longtime advocate for a return to the gold standard! Yikes! Is that legal? Having Federal Reserve Board members who want a return to the gold standard?! Ron Paul must be doing handsprings right now as he hears about this.
