On July 22, 2019 we discuss one of the defining components of The Trump Phenomenon, specifically: “how to win”. Trump subscribes to the General MacArthur dictum: “In war there is no substitute for victory.” The patriot movement that Trump has created “de novo” by himself is founded on being honest enough with ourselves to routinely ask: “Is what I’m doing a program designed to win?” That’s a very different question from the “Do I think I’m right?” question which was was most of what we asked of ourselves in the BT years. That’s BT, Before Trump. Which of these two questions did Trump ask of himself constantly to secure the unreserved and decisive support of America’s HUGE evangelical community?
