The 2009-2010 Swine Flu Pandemic is officially estimated to have led to 150,000 to 575,000 deaths. 11% to 21% of the world’s population is estimated to have contracted this epidemic. Out of a then-population of 6.8 billion people, that was 700 million to 1.4 billion cases. Now, here’s Kelso’s point on The Trump Phenomenon coverage of the latest virus bug: do you remember ANYTHING being shut down in the 2009-2010 Swine Flu? No, you don’t. Didn’t anybody in the media work day and night to shut down the economy and panic the people at that time, with Barack Hussein Obama as president? No. Not at all. So, what changed? Well, let’s see. The total number of deaths got a LOT smaller, 7,000 now versus 150,000 to 575,000 then. The total number of infections got a LOT smaller, 180,000 now versus 700 MILLION to 1.4 BILLION then. The severity of the flu got a LOT less dangerous, affecting only unhealthy and very old people today versus anybody, including healthy people and children then. But, gee whiz, nobody even mentioned shutting down even part of the economy anywhere. Now the media is drooling about shutting ALL of the economy EVERYWHERE. Why? You want in on the secret? Shhh, don’t tell anyone…..in 2009 the president was Barack Hussein Obama, but in 2020 the president is Donald John Trump. The Wuhan Chinese virus hysteria is the latest, and greatest, leftwing enemy-of-the-people Deep State campaign to destroy the patriot president who is their nemesis.
