Co-hosts: Paul Fromm, George from Georgia | A great call from a listener in our October 17, 2017 Trump Phenomenon show. The listener alerted George, Paul, and James to a 1992 movie in Russian with English subtitles named “The Chekist”. I’m watching it now as I write this show summary. The movie portrays well the horror of what evil actually is, and how it drove the Bolsheviks in their civil war against patriotic Russians in the Russian Revolution. George Orwell had his eyes opened to that evil when he witnessed personally the Communist savagery in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Orwell entered that war, naively, on the wrong side. He came back to London on the right side, having additionally had the revelation (80 years before Donald Trump proclaimed the same insight!) that this evil population includes the purveyors of what he realized was constantly FAKE news. Plus plenty of good news for the Trump Train patriots in this show.
