A show about our forthcoming documentary “The Heretics of London – The Smithfield Martyrs”. A look at the area of Smithfield, formerly Smoothfield, just outside the Old City Wall of London. The area saw the burning of 65 heretics during the time of Henry VIII – Mary 1st. The trailer for the film being made by WOTW is available at windowsontheworld.net. Guest Araya Soma plays Anne Askew burnt at the stake in 1546 after being tortured in the Tower of London.
